BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – With three double figure scorers and eight three-point field goals made, the Baker University women's basketball team shot past University of St. Mary for an 83-67 win in day two of the HAAC/KCAC Challenge inside the Collins Center.

Baker improved to 4-1 with the win, while the Spires fell to 1-2 on the season and went 0-2 in the tournament with a loss to Benedictine on Friday.

Kyrstie Ehm had a big day for the 'Cats with her 23 points on 9-of-16 shooting and Jami Hodge had double figures for the fifth-straight game, she has scored double figures in each of the Wildcats games this season.

Sydney Buchel record double digits in scoring for the first time in her Baker career, as she scored 12 points and had eight rebounds.

Ehm led the team with her 12 boards and BriAnna Garza was an assist machine with her 11 dimes.

Defensively, Baker held USM to just 32.8-percent from the floor and outrebounded the Spires impressively, 57-34.

The Wildcats will next take on Haskell Indian Nations University on Tuesday, Nov. 19 at 5:30 p.m. in Lawrence, Kan.
