The Wildcats caused 22 turnovers with 13 steals and BriAnna Garza had a big night with a game high 32 points on 9-of-20 shooting and a near perfect 11-of-13 from the free-throw line.
Garza also had three steals, five assists and two rebounds. Baker also outrebounded the Eagles, 45-39.
Macy Wallisch and Angel Woods each had a team high seven rebounds and Rashida Simpson finished with seven points and five boards.
The Wildcats entered halftime up, 33-25, and played steady throughout the second half and outscored the nationally ranked Eagles, 39-38, in the second half.
CMU shot just 50-percent from the free-throw line on 9-of-18 and struggle from behind the arc on just 4-fo-14 from three-point land, 28.6-percent.
Baker will take some time off before its next game, as they hit the road again to take on Emporia State on Dec. 31 at 1:30 p.m. in an exhibition.
With the victory on Monday night, Baker improved to 8-4 and 2-1 in the HAAC, while the Eagles fell to 8-3 overall and 1-2 in the conference.
