BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University women's basketball team won its fourth-straight HAAC game on Saturday afternoon with a 76-47 win at home over Culver-Stockton College, to improve to 11-5 overall and 4-1 in the HAAC.

With the loss, the Wildcats fell to 3-10 and 0-5 in the HAAC and shot just 28.9-percent from the field in the first half and 27-percent on the night.

The Wildcats led 35-25 at the break and then turned it on in the second half, outscoring Culver-Stockton 41-22 in the second.

Baker was stellar in the paint, outscoring CSC 34-12 and had 16 second chance points, compared to just two by Culver. Baker's bench also scored 38 points.

Leading the way in scoring was Jami Hodge with her 13 points, while Kyrstie Ehm poured in 12 and Rashida Simpson had 10 points and six rebounds.

Shea Shoemaker scored nine, but also had five assists and three rebounds. No CSC players scored in double figures and as a unit they shot just 2-of-10 from behind the arc.

The Wildcats outrebounded CSC, 53-34 and Macy Wallisch had a game high 11, she also added four blocks.

The Wildcats will next take on Avila University, this Thursday, Jan. 16 at 5:30 p.m. in Kansas City, Mo.
