KANSAS CITY, Mo. - The Baker University women's basketball team dropped its third straight game with a 62-53 loss at Avila University (18-10, 12-6) on Monday night. With the loss the Wildcats fall to 16-12 overall and 12-6 in Heart of America Athletic Conference play.

Gibson's 24 leads Baker in 59-40 win over Culver-Stockton

CANTON, Mo. - Emily Gibson scored 24 points and pulled down 19 rebounds to lead Baker to a 59-40 win over Culver-Stockton College on Saturday afternoon.
Aubree Gustin added 10 points as Baker (16-9, 12-3) continued its dominance in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.
Emily Gibson currently ranks No. 1 in the NAIA with 15 double-doubles on the season. Gibson also recorded three blocks in the game while shooting a whopping 9-for-13 (69 percent) from the field.
The Wildcats will be back in action on Thursday at 5:30 p.m., at the George F. Collins Center.

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Five different players on the Baker women's basketball team had double-digit totals in points to lift the Wildcats to a 62-52 victory against Avila University on Thursday evening. Junior Aubree Gustin and sophomore Gloria Atanmo each had a team-high 11 points. Jenna Brantley, Brittany Hines and Emily Gibson each recorded 10.

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - Emily Gibson scored 22 points and grabbed 14 rebounds to lead the Baker University women to a 54-44 victory over Central Methodist on Thursday evening. Gibson currently ranks No. 1 nationally with 14 double-doubles on the year.
The Wildcats (14-8, 10-2) shot 37 percent from the field and 27 percent from beyond the arc.
Blocks were the story of the game. The Wildcats recorded a season-high eight blocks with Emily Gibson and Aubree Gustin each swatting three apiece.

Turnovers plague Wildcats in 62-73 loss at Benedictine
ATCHISON, Kan. - After battling to a 78-72 overtime win on Monday evening, the Baker women's basketball team dropped its second conference game of the season Thursday night.
The Ravens (12-8, 7-4) forced the Wildcats (12-8, 8-2) into a season-high 24 turnovers en route to its fourth straight conference victory.
"Turnovers killed us. You can't turn the ball over that many times and expect to win the basketball game," said head coach Susan Decker.
