Eight Wildcats competed in the event with three finishing in the Top 25 including Carly Schmidtlein who took home sixth-place. She averaged 187 pins, finishing just behind her teammate Brittany Barker who took home 12th-place averaging 179 pins and Caitlin Campbell took home 25th after averaging 167 pins.
The Wildcats took home sixth-place out of 12 teams and 143 bowlers competed in the event.
As a team, Baker also won the Team Sportsmanship Award and head coach Cheryl Keslar was ‘very proud and honored’ to see her team win such an award.
Baker finished ahead of West Texas, Grandview, University of Central Oklahoma, University of Houston, Tabor College and Our Lady of the Lake.
The Wildcats will next compete in the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge in Lawrence, Kan., at Baker’s home practice facility the Royal Crest Lanes.
