Bowling Program Signs Texas Recruit

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University head bowling coach Cheryl Keslar announced the signing of Hutto, Texas native Kayla Endicott on Wednesday afternoon.

Endicott is a 4.0 student from Stony Point High School in Round Rock, Texas and will join the Wildcats bowling team next Fall.

She earned the 2012 Jan Bacon Rising Star award from the Texas Bowling Writers Association and was the 2012 Texas High School State singles runner-up.

She also participated in the Youth Team USA trials in Las Vegas, Nev., in 2012 and took home first-place in the Alex Reed Memorial Tournament last year.

Endicott has improved her bowling average in each of the last three seasons, bowled a 171 average in 2009-10, a 183 average in 2010-11 and a 209 average in 2011-12. She plans on majoring in Nursing while at Baker.
