Bowling Takes Third at Home Event

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University bowling team finished third out of nine teams last weekend at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge in Lawrence, Kan., on Nov. 2-3.

Brittany Kelly and Carly Schmidtlein led the Wildcats squad placing fourth and fifth respectively out of 93 bowlers. Kelly knocked down 1,178 pins for an average score of 196.3 and Schmidtlein had a total of 1,158 pins for an average score of 193.

Becca Wood placed 42nd with a total of 906 pins for an average score of 181.2. Kayla Endicott placed in 62nd knocking down 755 total pins for an average score of 188.75.

Baker will next travel to Davenport, Iowa on November 9 and 10 to compete in the ISYL Leatherneck Classic.
