LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Baker University bowling team competed in two tournaments in Nevada over the Holiday Break and posted two Top 10 finishes.

BELLEVILLE, Ill. – The Baker University bowling team notched another Top 10 finish over the weekend, placing sixth in the National Collegiate Team Match Games at Bel-Air Lanes in Belleville, Ill.

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Baker University Bowling team had its best finish of the young 2012-13 season with a second-place finish at the Jayhawk Collegiate Challenge, which was held November 3-4 at the Royal Crest Lanes, in Lawrence, Kan.

WICHITA, Kan. – The Baker University bowling team opened up the 2012 season with a sixth-place finish at the Mid-States Classic in Wichita, Kan., at the Northrock Lanes on Oct. 13-14.

Baker bowlers set for Sectionals showdown in Texas

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Quietly going about their business, the Baker University women’s bowling team qualified for their second consecutive trip to the USBC Sectional Championship set to be held this upcoming weekend in Euless, Texas.

Most recently, the Baker women placed 14th out of 44 teams at the Blue and Gold Classic, held in South Bend, Ind. Baker finished ahead of NCAA DI teams Purdue University, Ohio State University, The University of Kansas, and The University of Illinois.

Wildcat bowlers post first-ever Top 10 finish in Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS, Nev. – The Baker University women’s bowling team posted its first-ever Top 10 finish over the holidays when they traveled to Las Vegas, Nev., to compete in the 2011 Collegiate Shoot-Out Dec. 18-19 and the Glen Carlson Las Vegas Invitational Dec. 20-21.

The Wildcats posted a ninth-place finish out of 17 teams in the opening tournament as junior Caitlin Campbell (pictured) led the way for the Wildcats with a 15th place finish, averaging a score of 196.

Women’s bowling advances to first-ever USBC Intercollegiate Sectional Championships

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The Baker University women’s bowling team made history this past weekend as the United States Bowling Congress announced sectional-qualifying assignments for the 2011 USBC Intercollegiate Team Championships.

The Baker women finished 26th out of 44 teams in Hoosier Classic held in Indianapolis, Ind. The Wildcats top bowler Caitlin Campbell (Topeka, Kan.) led the Wildcats with a 13th-place individual finish, averaging 193.0 per game.
