Baker takes down Benedictine 29-21Football

Benedictine pushed Baker all the way to the end, showing everyone why the Heart of America Athletic Conference is so tough.

Baker has now defeated the Ravens four-consecutive years improving their overall series record to 13-12-1.

Senior running back Richie Bryant ran for 134 yards on 24 attempts with one touchdown, while senior quarterback Mack Brown threw for 236 yards on 30-44 passing with two touchdowns.

Andrew Patch sealed the game late when he forced a fumble off the Ravens quarterback and recovered the ball on the Benedictine 1-yard line setting up a rushing touchdown for RIchie Bryant to give Baker the 29-21 victory.

Matt Brock and Ryder Werts led the way defensively recording 13 tackles and 8 tackles respectively.

The Wildcats now sit at 3-3 on the season heading into next week's match-up with Graceland University (2-4).  Kickoff is slated for 1:30 p.m. in Lamoni, Ia.
