Spring Game

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – For the second consecutive season, the Baker Wildcat football team will enter the season ranked among the top 25 programs in the country. Baker enters 2011 at No. 23, tied with Benedictine College.

HAAC foes MidAmerica Nazarene and Missouri Valley College enter the season ranked No. 3 and No. 11 respectively. Local rival Ottawa University is ranked No. 10.

“Any time you get recognized nationally as a program, it’s a credit to how the kids finished the job the previous season,” said head coach Mike Grossner. “We are excited about the upcoming season and the chance to play four teams ranked in the top 25. Hopefully our guys embrace the opportunity that lies ahead.”
