2011 VSN Classic

No. 10 Ottawa and No. 23 Baker set for rematch showdown in VSN Classic

VSN Classic

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - The phones are ringing off the hooks, the football team is doing two-a-days, and all the sudden, the fall sports season is nearly back in full swing.

Thanks to an NAIA rule, the Baker football team was allowed to report to camp a few days earlier than previous seasons due to the looming showdown with No. 10 Ottawa University on August 27.

So, to bring everyone up-to-date, here are a few reminders as we move forward.

Tickets

Currently cash or check are the only payment methods being accepted.

Ticket pickup will be available from 1:00-3:00 p.m. in the athletic department Monday-Friday leading up to the game in Memorial Hall room 211, located at the corner of 6th and Freemont Street.

General admission adults- $10
General admission students- $5
BU Faculty, Staff and children under five years old will be admitted free of charge

Gameday Information

All seating will be general admission. The gates will open at 5 p.m. on gameday. Tickets will be sold at both the Baker and Ottawa tailgates at the stadium starting at 5 p.m. Gate workers will only be accepting cash payment.

Ottawa University seating information

Adults will be seated in the south visitors stands. Students seating will be in the east  "D" endzone. The Baker athletic department asks that all Ottawa fans enter through southwest gate along the Sauder Field third baseline.

Baker University seating information

The north home stands will house the Baker University faithful. Students will have seating in the west "D" endzone. The Baker athletic department asks that all Wildcat fans enter the northwest gate (at the corner of 2nd and Freemont, near the BU tailgate tent.)
