No. 6 Missouri Valley cruises to 38-7 victory over No. 22 Baker

MARSHALL, Mo. – The Baker University football team remains winless on the road after falling to Missouri Valley College 38-7 on Saturday evening.

Baker scored its only touchdown with just four minutes remaining in regulation as Sam Vossen connected with Kyle Bolton for a 25-yard score, the longest play of the game for the Wildcats.

Offensively, the running game was stagnant as Baker had only 22 yards on 28 attempts. The Wildcats finished the game with 169 yards of total offense, while Missouri Valley racked up 487 yards.

Kyle Bolton finished the game as the ‘Cats top receiver with five catches and 100 yards with one touchdown. Quarterback Jake Morse was 12-for-18 with 122 yards.

The Wildcats return home next Saturday afternoon against No. 9 MidAmerica Nazarene at 1 p.m.
