The Wildcats moved up from No. 18 and jumped fellow Heart of America Athletic Conference foe MidAmerica Nazarene, who is now ranked No. 13.
The HAAC has three teams ranked in the top 10 including No. 5 Missouri Valley, No. 6 Benedictine and the Wildcats at No. 9. St. Ambrose is tied with Baker for the No. 9 spot with its 2-0 mark.
Baker is one of only four teams in the Top 25 with a 3-0 record, joining the Wildcats with the same record are No. 2 Marian (Ind.), No. 7 William Penn (Iowa) and No. 19 Rocky Mountain (Mont.).
Baker will return to the field with its perfect record to take on Central Methodist this Saturday, Sept. 15 at 6 p.m. in Fayette, Mo., the Wildcats haven’t lost to CMU since 2006.
