Jolly helped 18th-ranked Baker (5-2) bounce back from back-to-back defeats to claim a 42-13 victory over Avila to celebrate Homecoming in Baldwin City.
A sophomore from Gardner, Kan., Jolly recorded eight total tackles (two solo) that included 3.5 for loss and 2.5 sacks. He also recorded one pass break up as he leads the Wildcats with nine sacks, a total that leads the conference and is #2 in the NAIA.
Baker will have the next two week’s off before traveling to Canton, Mo., to take on Culver-Stockton on Oct. 27 at 2 p.m.
