Schrag Named HAAC Defensive POW

Scott Schrag and the Wildcats return home this Saturday

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University's Scott Schrag became the fifth Wildcat to earn the Heart of America Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week award on Monday, after recording 10 solo tackles in Baker's 38-28 win at No. 18 Benedictine College on Saturday.

A senior from Pretty Prairie, Kan., he recorded a team-high 11 tackles, including a career-best 10 solo stops.

He now has 28 tackles on the season and his 11 on Saturday were the second most of the season by the senior, he had 13 in Baker's win over Avila back on Oct. 6.

Schrag will represent the conference in contention for the NAIA weekly defensive award, which will be announced later on Monday afternoon.

Baker has one more game left on its regular season schedule as they take on Graceland University this Saturday, Nov. 10 at 1 p.m. on Senior Day.
