A total of 259 football student-athletes were awarded the distinction and Cumberland (Tenn.) led all schools with 16 individuals on the list.
Baker was tied for third most in the entire NAIA with the number of scholar-athletes on its squad with Carroll College (Mont.).
The 10 Wildcats that earned the award are senior Reno Marical, senior Joel Murphy, junior Dominick Reiske, senior Aaron Rieschick, senior Scott Schrag, senior Steven Stewart, junior Connor Stremel, senior Andrew Taliaferro, senior Sam Vossen and junior Bryan Williams.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete mush maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status to qualify for this honor.
