Baker improves to 6-1 overall and 4-1 in the HAAC, while CMU falls to 4-3 on the season and 3-2 in the conference.
CMU only grabbed the lead once in the game at 12-7. Baker then scored 39 straight points, while the Wildcats defense suffocated the Eagles offense.
The Eagles also turned the ball over a total of six times leading to 24 points for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats gained a total of 206 rushing yards led by running back Dillon Baxter who had 86 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries.
Camren Torneden, Alex Stebbins, and Adonis Powell also added a rushing score. Torneden finished with 50 yards on nine carries, while Powell had 27 yards also on nine carries.
Jake Heller got the start at quarterback and he led the team to its second most point in a game this season. The sophomore finished with 244 yards with a touchdown on 14 of 21 passing.
Wide receiver Clarence Clark had yet another solid performance posting 125 yards and a touchdown on just three receptions. He had the games biggest play on a 79-yard touchdown score in the third quarter.
The Wildcats finished with 450 total offensive yards, while holding the Eagles to 336. Defensively, Emmerson Clarke had a pick six in the fourth quarter and Darrick Smith added to his interception total with a pick in the second half for his fifth interception of the season.
Baker will next travel to Marshall, Mo., to take on No. 6 ranked Missouri Valley. The game is scheduled for a 1:30 p.m. kickoff next Saturday, Oct. 26.
