BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The No. 4 ranked Baker University football team continued its winning ways by racing past Graceland 40-16 last Saturday afternoon to improve to 9-1 overall and 7-1 in the HAAC.

The No. 4 national ranking is the highest ever in head coach Mike Grossner's tenure with the Wildcats.

Baker will now host No. 19 ranked Peru State on Senior Day for a chance to earn its first 10 win season, and a chance to at least share the HAAC title for the first time since 1993. Baker is currently in a three-way tie for first place with No. 7 Missouri Valley, and No. 9 Benedictine.

The Wildcats will honor 14 seniors before the 1 p.m. kickoff as the following seniors will walk out on the field with their families, No. 26 Bryan Williams, No. 5 Adrian Pearson, No. 7 Joshua Fairley, No. 58 Darrick Smith, No. 28 Dillon Baxter, No. 2 Emmerson Clarke, No. 82 Lucas Roepke, No. 77 Clayton Hill, No. 3 Tyler Hatcher, No. 94 Dominick Reiske, No. 16 Sheldon Farrell, No. 10 Jake Morse, No. 9 Jose Castro and No. 95 Austin Hamm.

Baker and Peru State will square off for only the 5th time on Saturday. The Wildcats and Bobcats series is tied 2-2, and Baker has won the last two meetings in 2011 and 2012.

Peru State comes into the game with a 7-3 overall record, and 5-3 in the HAAC. They also feature running backs Ethan Bray and Tyler Audsley who have combined for over 2,100 yards and 27 touchdowns.

Bray has totaled at least 100 yards in the last five games, and ranks number 12 in Division I in total rushing yards with 1,204. His best performance was in a nail-biting win against Culver-Stockton when he accumulated 252 yards and a touchdown on 40 carries.

Audsley ranks in the Top-10 in Division I in four different categories, including number six in scoring touchdowns per game with 10.7. Audsley's best performance came in the season opener against Dakota Wesleyan (S.D.) when he gained 148 yards and three touchdowns on 14 carries.

The Bobcats are coming off of a 35-27 loss against Evangel last Saturday. Peru State gained 366 yards of total offense led by Bray's 152 yards and a score on 23 carries.

Peru State also surrendered 417 total yards with 294 of that coming through the air.

Baker's Jake Morse led the way offensively last week for the team against the Yellowjackets, accumulating 201 yards and a touchdown on 18 of 28 passing.

Wide receivers Tyler Hatcher and Clarence Clark also combined for 10 receptions. Hatcher had 62 yards on six receptions, while Clark had 42 yards and a touchdown on four receptions.
