The 10-1 Wildcats will host the 9-2 Warriors who won the KCAC regular season crown with an 8-1 conference record. The Wildcats also captured the HAAC regular season championship with an 8-1 mark, tying Benedictine and Missouri Valley for the title.
This will mark the 12th time these two squads have met on the football field, Baker owns a 10-1 all-time over the Warriors.
Sterling's two losses this season came to Panhandle State University in its season opener, 35-15, and they fell to Friends University, 35-0, at home.
The Warriors beat two ranked teams this season, as they defeated then-No. 8 Ottawa, 30-18, at home and defeated then-No. 8 Tabor, 46-45, in overtime at home.
This also marks the first time in his 10 years as head coach at Baker that Mike Grossner has faced Sterling and this marks the first time since 1983 that Baker has hosted a playoff game. Baker was last in the NAIA-FCS Playoffs in 2012 when they took on No. 6 St. Francis and fell, 22-17.
The Baker University athletic department will be providing live stats and live video for the contest at www.bakerwildcats.com. More information to come, so keep it locked on the official site for Baker Athletics, www.bakerwildcats.com.
