BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The No. 9 ranked Baker University Football team has earned two more Heart of America Athletic Conference weekly football awards, as senior quarterback Sam Vossen and junior punter Bryan Williams earned HAAC Offensive and Special Teams Player of the Week honors.

PERU, Neb. – With a strong running game and an efficient day from quarterback Sam Vossen, the No. 18 ranked Baker University football team improved to 2-0 on the year and 1-0 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference with a 34-13 win over Peru State.

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – After its impressive road win at No. 11 Ottawa last Saturday, the No. 18 ranked Baker University football team will now face Peru State this Saturday, Sept. 1 as they open up the Heart of America Athletic conference regular season on the road at 1 p.m.
