Doerfler wins Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the second time this season
When senior Derek Doerfler hit a 36-yard field goal Saturday evening to give Baker the early 5-0 lead, he was making school history. Doerfler officially passed Mike Gardner '89 on the all-time charts with his 42nd career field goal as a Wildcat.

Baker takes down Benedictine 29-21
Benedictine pushed Baker all the way to the end, showing everyone why the Heart of America Athletic Conference is so tough.
Baker has now defeated the Ravens four-consecutive years improving their overall series record to 13-12-1.

Baker hosts Benedictine on Maple Leaf Festival weekend
The Wildcats will look to get back on track this weekend when they take on HAAC rival Benedictine College. The Wildcats come into play 2-3, while the Ravens come in at 3-3.
Baker and Benedictine have both played common opponents in Missouri Valley, MidAmerica Nazarene and Avila University. The Wildcats opened with those three opponents, and the Ravens met the same three the past three weekends. Both squads beat Avila and lost to the other two.

Baker football falls to No. 3 Lindenwood
The Lindenwood offense came out firing on Saturday afternoon on a dreary, cold and cloudy day in St. Charles, Mo. The Lions racked up nearly 500 yards of total offense, 280 passing and 194 rushing on their way to a 52-30 victory.
Baker quarterback Mack Brown passed for 247 yards with 1 touchdown and running back Richie Bryant rushed for 135 yards with 2 touchdowns in a game where Baker never seemed to be able to catch up.
No. 3 Lindenwood improved to 6-0 on the season, while Baker dropped to 2-3.
Baker will be back in action next weekend when they take on conference rival Benedictine College (3-3) at 6 p.m. from Liston Stadium in Baldwin City, Kan.View the full box score and season stats here.

No. 3-ranked Lindenwood next for Baker University
Baldwin City, Kan. — No. 3-ranked Lindenwood, the lone unbeaten team in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, will play host to Baker University at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Charles, Mo.
The Lions (5-0) lead the conference in points scored (57.6 points per game), total offense (534 yards) and points allowed (16.8).

Baker rolls Avila 41-0
The Baker offense and defense were finally on the same page on Saturday afternoon when they faced conference foe Avila University. Richie Bryant was back to his 2008 form after rushing for 242 yards with 2 touchdowns and one breakaway 76 yard gain. Senior quarterback Mack Brown led the way on the air attack throwing for 180 yards with 3 touchdowns.
Defensively Matt Brock led the way with 8 solo tackles and 1 sack. Junior Colton Miller recorded his third interception of the season ranking him 2nd overall in the NAIA.
