BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Baker University senior linebacker Darrick Smith was named this week's Heart of America Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week after a record setting performance last Saturday at Culver-Stockton.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – After winning its third straight Heart of America Athletic Conference game and improving to 5-1 on the year with a shutout win over Culver-Stockton, 39-0, last Saturday, the Baker University football team jumped to No. 10 in the NAIA Football Coaches' Top 25 poll.

CANTON, Mo. – The No. 11 ranked Baker University football team continued its hot streak with a 39-0 shutout win over Culver-Stockton on Saturday and linebacker Darrick Smith had a school record four interceptions in the win.

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The No. 12 ranked Baker University football team ended its 13-game losing streak to MidAmerica Nazarene on Saturday, in a 37-20 victory, the first over the Pioneers since the 1999 season.
