Baker men drop conference opener to Evangel
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - The Baker men's basketball team fell behind early and could not recover as the Wildcats' five-game winning streak came to a halt with a 42-78 loss to Evangel University on Tuesday evening at the Collins Center.
Baker shot just 28 percent from the floor and didn't score its first bucket until the 16-minute mark.
Malcolm Greer led the way, scoring 11 points off 3-7 shooting from the floor.
Baker will be back in action Thursday when they take on conference foe Benedictine College at 7:30 p.m.
