Baker's Greer surpasses 1,000 career points Malcolm Greer

LIBERTY, Mo. - Senior Malcolm Greer (Carrollton, Texas) transferred to Baker in 2008 and over the past two years has become one of the best performers in the Heart of America Athletic Conference.

During Thursday's 50-85 loss at William Jewell, Greer (pictured) continued to leave his mark on the Baker basketball program.

Greer's 10-point effort against the Cardinals (10-6, 5-2) pushed him over the 1,000-point plateau, with his final basket giving him 1,003 career points.

The Wildcats (7-8, 0-5) will look to get back on the winning track on Saturday when they host Missouri Valley College (13-4, 5-2).

Baker will face a Viking squad that has won six straight games and sits in second place in the Heart of America Athletic Conference standings.

Tip-off for Saturday's contest is set for 4 p.m. in the George F. Collins Center.
