The Wildcats (2-3) are still looking to find consistency on the offensive side of the ball. Jaris Wommack was the only other Wildcat to score in double figures with 14 points.
With 3:53 remaining in regulation the Wildcats grabbed a 53-52 lead thanks to a free throw from Jaris Wommack, but Kansas Wesleyan’s Matt Dickman responded on the next possession, hitting a three-pointer from which Baker wasn’t able to recover.
Kansas Wesleyan (3-3) had three players score in double figures, with Matt Dickman leading the way netting 26 points.
The Wildcats will return to action Nov. 19th when they travel the University of St. Mary for a 7 p.m. CT tip-off.
