Saturday didn’t go as planned for Baker. The Wildcats fell 81-56 to rival Ottawa University in what coach Ballard said was the worst loss of the season. “I didn’t think we were competitive,” said Ballard. “You can’t have games like that.”
Jaris Wommack led the Wildcats with 14 points while shooting nearly 50 percent from the field (6-for-13). The Wildcats shot only 47 percent from the free throw line (11-for-23), while Ottawa finished at 16-for-16.
Baker will return to action on Nov. 23rd when they travel to Northwest Missouri State for a 7 p.m., tipoff.
