After scoring only 19 points in the first half, Baker exploded in the second half for a season high 43 points after the break.
Three Wildcats scored in double figures with Jack Shortell leading the way scoring 16 points on 7-for-9 shooting from the floor.
“I thought Jack had his best game of the season tonight,” said head coach Brett Ballard. “We really had much better energy in the second half, we need to get to a point where we sustain the energy for a full game.”
Jaris Wommack followed up his season high performance of 27 points with 11 points on 4-for-10 shooting from the floor. Andre Strozier added 10 points and eight rebounds.
“Beating a conference opponent by 20 points is never a bad thing, I was very proud of our guys tonight,” Ballard added.
