Steinlage was a perfect 8-for-8 from the field to finish with 17 points to go along with a pair of rebounds and a steal on Thursday evening at home against Peru State. He finished the weekend with a career-best 26 points as well as 10 rebounds and a blocked shot while draining 10-of-14 field goals and 6-of-8 free throws. He leads Baker in scoring with 11.4 points per game and is shooting 65.3 percent from the field.
Steinlage will represent the conference in the running for the weekly NAIA Men's Basketball Division I Player of the Week award, which will be announced no later than Tuesday afternoon.
