The Wildcats improved to 3-1 on the year, while Ottawa fell to 1-2. Corey Anderson had a big day for Baker with 22 points and hit four three-pointers and was 6-of-6 from the free-throw line.
Todd Eils joined Anderson with scoring in double figures with 10 and the Wildcats had a season low 10 turnovers.
Despite shooting 37.7-percent from the field, Baker made up ground at the free-throw line by shooting 21-of-24.
Ben Steinlage had a team high nine rebounds and scored nine points and Baba Diallo, Samer Jassar and Anderson all had five boards apiece.
Julian Mills controlled the tempo for Baker with five assists and zero turnovers with five points.
Ottawa had two players score in double figures, as Julian Rose led the team with 15 and Stephen Feighny had 10.
Baker will hit the road this week to take on NCAA Division II Pittsburg State this this Tuesday, Nov. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
