The Wildcats are now 10-7 overall and 3-4 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference, while Graceland falls to 5-13 and 2-5 in the HAAC.
Ben Steinlage again led all scorers with 18 points on Saturday and grabbed three rebounds. He was also a perfect 6-of-6 from the free-throw line.
As a team, Baker held the Yellowjackets to just 6-of-23 from beyond the arc and collected five blocks, two coming from senior Samer Jassar.
The contest was close throughout with the Wildcats holding just a three-point lead at the half, 31-28, and outscored Graceland by two in the second half, 32-30.
Two Yellowjackets scored in double figures, as Jamal Lawson led the way with 18 and Max Francisco scored 10.
Corey Anderson joined fellow Wildcat Steinlage in double figures with 13 and Jassar led the team in rebounding with eight.
Christopher Lockhart was the team leader in assists with three and the Wildcats only turned the ball over 11 times, Graceland was even better taking care of the ball with only seven turnovers.
Baker will next hit the hardwood on Thursday, Jan. 17 on the road at Benedictine College at 7:30 p.m.
