Lysaught is one of 60 Division I men's basketball student-athletes to be named a 2012-13 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete. Westminster (Utah) leads all institutions with six individuals on the list.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status.
Lysaught played two seasons for the Wildcats and appeared in 60 games in his career. He averaged 3.6 points per game this season and started in 11 games. He nailed 15 three-pointers in his career and grabbed 122 total rebounds.
