BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The No. 8 seeded Baker University men's basketball team fell, 66-51, to No. 1 Benedictine on Wednesday evening in the first round of the 2014 HAAC Men's Basketball Conference Tournament and ended its season.

The Wildcats ended the year with a record of 11-19, while the Ravens improved to 22-7 and will host No. 4 Evangel on Friday night in the HAAC semifinals.

The Wildcat defense caused 16 Raven turnovers on the night, but allowed BC to knock down 11 three-point field goals and Charlie Wallrapp had a game high 20 points,

2014 HAAC Freshman of the Year Javeion Gray had 13 points and six assists for the Wildcats, while EJ Carter poured in 14.

The 'Cats hit eight three-point field goals of their own with Todd Johnston knocking down three in his final game in a Baker uniform.

Baker managed just 21 rebounds as a team and six offensively, while Benedictine had 31 as a team.

Julian Mills got the start in his final game for Baker and the senior registered three points to go with two steals and two assists.
