Coach Ballard set to make coaching debut Thursday evening
BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – For the first time in 25 years, the Baker men’s basketball team will take the floor with a new head coach when Brett Ballard makes his coaching debut at 7 p.m. Thursday against Kansas Wesleyan at the Collins Center.

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. - New Baker University men's basketball coach Brett Ballard has been busy recruiting.
Ballard announced on Tuesday the signings of transfers Curvonte McGown and Samer Jassar to play basketball in 2010-11 for the Wildcats.
"I am very excited about the two transfers we are bringing in for the year," Ballard said. "I believe both will address some immediate needs that we had coming into this season. I got a chance to recruit these guys last spring/summer. They are individuals who come from solid backgrounds and they will be good representatives of Baker University.”

Long announced today. Dr. Long introduced Ballard during a news conference at 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, at the Collins House on the Baldwin City campus.

Five players score in double figures as Wildcats cruise to victory

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Senior Malcolm Greer led the way Monday evening scoring a career-high 29 points off 11-of-15 (73 percent) shooting from the floor. The Wildcats got contributions from everybody, Jaris Wommack had 21 points, while Brock Entner (16), Manuel Medina (14), and Andre Strozier (12) all chipped in.
