2011-2012: Played in 33 games at Baker, starting in 31 for the Wildcats…Averaged 25.5 minutes per game…Second on the team with field goals attempted…Led the team with a field goal percentage of .614...Also led the team with 134 free throws attempted…Averaged 12.3 points per game, also good for first on the team…Had a season-high 26 points to go along with 10 rebounds in a game against Culver-Stockton…Had a season-high 16 rebounds against rival MidAmerica Nazarene, to go along with 18 points…Averaged 6.0 rebounds per game, also good for the team lead…Named an NAIA Division I Basketball Honorable Mention All-American

Personal: Ben Francis Steinlage was born in Seneca, Kan., and is the son of Dale and Geri Steinlage…Has two siblings Roxann and Sam…Attended Centralia High School in Centralia, Kan., where he participated in Football, Basketball, and Track and Field…Former Kansas University and NFL running back John Riggins also attended Centralia High School…The Panthers were 3rd in the State Basketball tournament in 2009…3x 1A 1st Team, 2nd Team All-Classes, 2009…1-2A All-State Tight End…1-2A All-State Linebacker…1A State Discus champion 2009…Participated in the KBCA All-Star Game…Also participated in the Kansas Shrine Bowl…Scored 31 points and pulled down 20 rebounds vs. Valley Heights HS senior year…Scored 35 points against Colony Crest in a State game senior year of high school…Left Centralia High School as the all time leader in both rebounds and scoring…Enjoys golfing and hanging out with friends and family in his free time…Majoring in Secondary Education/History
