Baker’s men’s team finished five shots under Columbia College and 15 shots below Graceland to win the tournament.
Freshman Grant Grego finished just one shot out of first-place after shooting a first round score of 72 and a second round of 81 to finish with a two-round score of 153, just one above Tyler Kolb of Columbia College.
Alex Zuzelski and Andy Kelley finished in the top five with a fourth and fifth-place respectively. Zuzelski shot a two-round score of 154 and Kelley shot a 155.
Mason Dick finished in a tie for 6th-place, shooting a first-round 74 and a second round 83. Baker’s Kelley Thompson also competed for head coach Karen Exon this week and took home 15th.
On the women’s side, Baker finished ahead of six teams with a first round team score of 358 and a second round score of 371 for a total of 729.
Like she did at the Baker Fall Invitational in late September, Rebecca Holder finished the tournament with the lowest score for the Wildcats with a two-round score of 177, finishing in a tie for 17th with teammate Lindsey Mateer.
Rachel Strecker cracked the Top 25 with her 24th-place finish two-round score of 186. Morgan Miller took home 29th-place and had the shot of the tournament as she nailed a hole-in-one on the 8th hole on day one of the tournament and became the first Baker women’s golfer to ever hit a hole-in-one in tournament play.
Baker’s Emma Tinsley placed 47th during the two-day tournament with a first round 106 and a second round 100.
