BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University golf program swept this week's Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's and Women's Golfer of the Week Awards.

Senior Alex Zuzleski picked up the men's honor, while sophomore Lindsey Mateer won the women's award.

For the first time in his Baker career, Zuzelski finished in first-place individually with a first round 72, second round 75 and total round of 147, finishing three shots ahead of Ashford's Matt Chiasson.

The Syracuse, Kan., native helped lead Baker to a first-place finish out of 11 teams.

On the women's side, Mateer took home second-place with her first day 85 and second day 80 for a total of 165, just five shots behind first-place Demi Coertze of William Penn.

The sophomore from Spring Hill, Kan., helped the Wildcats to a fourth-place finish out of 14 squads and the 'Cats were 21 shots ahead of the next HAAC team.
