No. 12 Soccer

Men's Soccer ranked No. 12 nationally

The finale of Baker's 2008 men's soccer season is still fresh in the minds of the players and fans who traveled to the NAIA National Tournament in Fresno, Calif. While players and fans are looking for a way to erase the bitterness of the loss to No. 11 Westmont in a 1-0 shutout, Head Coach Nate Houser is in no hurry to erase that memory. In fact, he wants his players to remember it and use it as motivation.

"Last season was a buy-in year for the players, they had to understand our system. This year will be a learning curve where they can build on the sucess of last season," said Houser. Bolstered by the return of four starters, Matt Germain second team All-HAAC, Kome Okiomah second team All-HAAC, Alex Burton third team All-HAAC, and Matt Griffin first team All-HAAC, look for this year's Wildcat soccer team to build on the success of last season with energetic and exciting Baker Wildcat soccer. The Wildcats enter the season ranked No.12 in the NAIA. To view the full top 25 NAIA preseason poll click here
