Wildcats stay undefeated

Matt Germain got things started for the Baker Wildcats netting his first goal of the season on Saturday just 10 minutes into play. Shortly thereafter freshman Nick Aguilar scored the first goal of his college career, helping 12th-ranked Baker improve their overall season record to 2-0.

"We battled hard for the first 25 minutes and put the pressure on, which ended up creating some opportunities for us," stated Coach Houser. Late in the game Kome Okiomah was credited with his second goal of the season en route to the 3-0 shutout victory. Goalkeeper Alex Burton made two saves in the contest for his second straight shutout of the year.

Baker will be back in action Sunday afternoon when they face No. 23 McKendree College.
