Baker men’s soccer retains No. 4 ranking in NAIA Top 25Baker Soccer

Coming off a weekend where Baker went 2-0 defeating Oklahoma Christian University and Buena Vista University, Baker remained in the same position in the most recent NAIA soccer poll. Saturday evening Baker University won a thriller against Oklahoma Christian University. Luke Haidarovic scored on a header with less than two minutes to play on a great cross from Ethan Bauer.

OCU's only goal came when it was deflected into the 'Cats net off a Baker player. Alex Burton came up huge during the second half when OCU was awarded a penalty kick. Burton made a diving save to his left, keeping the score tied at 1-1 en route to the Wildcats 2-1 victory. "I thought Alex Burton played a big part in our win when he saved the penalty kick at a crucial spot in the game," stated Head Coach Nate Houser.

Baker will be back in action this weekend when they take on Grand View and conference rival Central Methodist.
