No. 20 Benedictine stuns No. 9 Baker

The Baker men were unable to get the momentum going their way Saturday evening at Liston Stadium.

Benedictine got on the scoreboard first when Baker shot the ball into their own goal on a clearing attempt midway through the first half. Benedictine added to that total in the second half when Brendan Copeland squeezed a shot past goalkeeper Alex Burton. With one minute remaining in regulation, Baker got on the scoreboard on a header from Luke Haidarovic that was set up by Kome Okiomah and Jacob Chiarelli.

Baker sits at 8-1-3 and 2-1-2 in the Heart of America Athletic Conference. View the full box score here.
