Tom Lowndes gave Baker (7-3-2, 3-1-1) the 1-0 victory Saturday night when he scored the game-winning goal just three minutes into overtime. Baker goalkeeper Alex Burton made two saves in the contest while recording his sixth shutout of the season.
"Our team was very disciplined Saturday and we got a deserved result," said head coach Nate Houser.
Look for Baker and Park to showcase speed and athleticism Tuesday evening. In 2008 the Wildcats played the Pirates to a 0-0 draw in the regular season before knocking off Park in the first round of the NAIA playoffs. In 2009 the Wildcats came out victorious, 3-2 in Parkville, Mo.
