Houser, a 1994 Baker graduate and member of the school's Athletic Hall of Fame, will continue serving as the head coach of both Wildcat programs. He has guided the women's team since 2003 and the men's team since 2008, including an NAIA Sweet Sixteen appearance.
Houser, the first former Wildcat soccer player inducted into Baker's Hall of Fame, enjoyed a successful pro career after graduating from Baker. He was drafted by the Wichita Wings of the Major Indoor Soccer League in 1993, then traded the very next day to the Kansas City Attack. Houser spent 11 seasons with the Kansas City Attack/Comets, and was an All-Star selection during the 1999 and 2000 seasons. Houser was a major component of the Kansas City Attack's 1997 NPSL Championship team.
