Matt Bickley named HAAC Defensive Player of the WeekMatt Bickley

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Baker University sophomore goalkeeper Matt Bickley (Overland Park, Kan.) has been named the Heart of America Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

Bickley tallied a total of seven saves to help Baker post a pair of 1-0 shutout victories over Park University (Mo.) and Columbia College (Mo.). Bickley has recorded three shutouts in three starts on the season with an average of 3.67 saves per contest.

The Wildcats are currently off to a 4-0 start and look to make a move the latest NAIA Top 25 Coaches’ Poll set to be released Tuesday afternoon.
