The knockout punches came in the 47th minute when Tom Lowndes put Baker ahead 4-0 on a penalty kick and in the 50th minute when Donny George scored off a corner kick from Lowndes.
Matt Bickley made four saves in the contest to record his fourth shutout of the season.
“It was important for us to prove ourselves against a top-10 team,” said head coach Nate Houser. “The OBU men have only lost to No. 1 Hastings and No. 7 Azusa Pacific and they are a very good technical team. We were able to blunt their attack with some very hard work. Seeing the guys score some goals was nice, they’ve put the time and effort and it paid off today.”
Baker returns to action on Saturday afternoon at 5:15 p.m. against Midland Luthern College (Neb.)
