Seyed Amadodin put Missouri Valley back on top just four minutes later after he received a ball from Alberto Gomez and the game remained scoreless from that point forward until Sean McAlister struck in the 69th minute to even the score at 2-2.
Baker goalkeeper Matt Bickley played arguably his best game of the season, as he made three three critical saves down the stretch to keep Baker in the game. Bickley finished the game with seven saves.
“Both teams were a couple inches away on numerous occasions,” Houser added. “Missouri Valley hit the post a few times and we had chances on our end. It was a very good night of soccer by two very good teams.”
The Wildcats will garner the No. 2 seed in the 2011 HAAC Playoffs due to a tiebreaker in goal differential. Missouri Valley finished the season at +13 and Baker finished the season at +12.
