The Wildcats are one of three Heart of America Athletic Conference teams in the top 25 and will face six teams ranked in the preseason top 25 poll. The other HAAC teams ranked behind Baker are No. 10 Missouri Valley and No. 19 Benedictine College.

Baker will take on No. 7 University of Sciences and Arts on Aug. 24 to open up the season on the road and No. 15 Kansas Wesleyan on Sept. 22 in Salina, Kan.

No. 22 Columbia College will take on Baker in Columbia, Mo., on Oct. 23, before ending the season at home against Mo Valley.

NOTES: (All information dates back to 2000) No. 1 Lindsey Wilson (Ky.) breaks a tie with Rio Grande (Ohio) for the most all-time No. 1 rankings with 37, followed by Rio Grande (Ohio) at 36, Bethel (Tenn.) (11), Auburn Montgomery (Ala.) (9), Hastings (Neb.) (8), Azusa Pacific (Calif.) (5) and Concordia (Calif.) (5)... The Blue Raiders have now been at No. 1 in the preseason six times (2012, 2010, 2006, 2002, 2001, 2000)...
