With the loss, MACU falls to 6-1, while the Wildcats improve to 3-3-3 and have posted a 3-0-2 record in its last five matches.
The Wildcats trailed early in the match, 1-0 when MACU’s Kevin Cabello scored in the 21st minute past keeper Matt Bickley.
But Baker was just getting started when Andy Griffin knocked in a goal in the 35th minute with the assist coming from Nate Byarlay on a long pass.
Griffin then scored the game-winning goal just two minutes later when he slammed home the goal of the year for the Wildcats, as he took a shot from about 20 yards out and knocked it off the left post and banged it through the net.
The Wildcats went into halftime up 2-1, and then Odaine Sinclair scored just his second goal of the season in the 62nd minute to give Baker the 3-1 lead.
The scoring continued when freshman Diego Ordonez scored his first career goal in the 77th minute and Richard Klein followed that up for his third goal on the year in the 81st minute.
Baker held the Evangels to just nine shots on the day with just two taken in the second half.
A total of 22 Wildcats saw the field on Friday and Baker took 26 shots as a squad with 11 on goal.
