BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – Eight Baker University men's soccer players earned a spot on the 2012 Heart of America Athletic Conference Men's Soccer All-Conference team, announced this week.

Two Wildcats earned a spot on the first-team including senior defender Nate Byarlay and senior forward Odaine Sinclair.

Byarlay was a First-Team All-HAAC recipient in 2011 and a NAIA First-Team All-American and First-Team NSCAA All-American. This season he has helped lead Baker to an 8-5-2 record and second-place finish in the HAAC standings.

Sinclair is also a repeat HAAC First-Team winner; he has scored five goals in 2012, which puts him second on the team.

Four Wildcats were named to the Second-Team All-HAAC including senior defender Josh Rydberg, senior defender Donny George, senior midfielder Nick Aguilar and senior midfielder Ethan Bauer.

The two Wildcats to earn a spot on the HAAC Third-Team were junior midfielder Andy Griffin and senior forward Richard Klein.

Baker had the most players represented on the three teams with eight, while MidAmerica Nazarene had the most First-Team All-Conference players with four.

HAAC regular season champion Benedictine College swept all four of the individual awards, as Joe Sbarro earned the Offensive Player of the Year award, Fernando Galvan earned the Defensive Player of the Year award and the Most Valuable Player award and head coach Rob Herringer was named the Coach of the Year.
