The Wildcats improved to 4-3-1 on the year with the win and out-shot McPherson, 15-11 and allowed just two shots on goal.
Matt Bickley picked up his second shutout of the year and had two saves. Baker had both of its goals come from the bench, as Richard Klein scored his second goal of the year in the 40th minute and Cody Sliva scored the final goal of the match in the 72nd minute for his first career goal in a Baker uniform. The assist came from sophomore Amer Didic.
Didic, Spencer Atkin, Robert Hoeven and Andy Griffin all led the team in shots with two and as a team, Baker had seven shots on goal.
The Wildcats will next take on Kansas Wesleyan this Saturday, Sept. 21 at 7 p.m. inside Liston Stadium.
