OLATHE, Kan. – The Baker University men’s and women’s tennis teams competed in the 2016 Association of Independent Institutions Conference Tournament over the weekend, as the men’s team advanced to the championship round, falling to Missouri Baptist, 5-4, and the women’s team advanced to the semifinal round also falling to William Woods, 5-0.

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University men’s and women’s tennis teams took on Tabor College and Kansas Wesleyan last week, as the men’s team defeated both Tabor and Kansas Wesleyan, capturing its 10th-straight victory.

OMAHA, Neb. – Baker University’s senior men’s tennis player Spartak Rahachou captured first place in the 2015 NAIA Central-South/Southwest Regional Championships at Koch Tennis Center in Omaha, Nebraska and will now compete in the NAIA National Championships in Sumter, South Carolina Oct. 15-19.

MOBILE, Ala. – Baker University men’s tennis player Aaron Greenbaum was named to the 2015 Daktronics-NAIA Men’s Tennis Scholar-Athlete list announced at the NAIA Men’s Tennis National Championship in Mobile, Ala.

BALDWIN CITY, Kan. – The Baker University tennis team traveled to Lamoni, Iowa on Saturday to face nationally ranked Graceland on the men’s and women’s side and the Yellowjackets prevailed in each match, as the No. 13 ranked women’s team defeated Baker, 7-2, while the No. 14 ranked men’s team beat the Wildcats, 8-1.

GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. – The Baker University men’s and women’s tennis teams took on Southwestern College on Saturday in Grain Valley, Mo., and the Wildcats came home with the sweep, as the men’s team won, 8-1, while the women’s squad won, 5-4.
